Hello - I’m STEVEN PAUL COLLINS, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Leigh-on-sea, Essex. I shoot a mix of traditional and documentary-style images in a relaxed and natural fashion, always striving to deliver a set of photographs that tell the story of your day.

I’ve been obsessed with photography all my life, and I began shooting weddings professionally in May 2018. I’ve well and truly thrown myself into my work and in that relatively short time (during which I had 14 months of downtime due to a global pandemic) I’ve covered over 200 weddings of all sizes and in all types of venues, from churches to golf clubs to barns to restaurants to community centres to manor houses to registry offices to pubs. I absolutely love what I do and I care passionately about delivering wedding photos to cherish by capturing all the key events as well as those beautiful, unscripted moments in a natural and relaxed way.

When photographing weddings I aim to blend in straight away so that everyone is relaxed around me; basically, I try to act like a well behaved wedding guest who just happens to have a good camera and knows how to use it! I do my best to be invisible for most of the day; giving little-to-no direction to people, I strive to capture the day in a natural way as it all unfolds.
